Lucie Hazen

Lucie Hazen is an operations coordinator in the Biology Department, based at Hopkins. As the administrative connection between main campus and four labs (Barone, Lowe, Thompson and Voskoboynik), she handles procurement, proposals, communications, travel and miscellaneous administrative needs. She also serves as a human resources liaison and supports property management for the Biology Department at HMS. Prior to this role, Lucie acquired her Masters in Fisheries Biology at the University of Washington, worked for UNC and Duke University performing research administration and marine mammal science, and most recently spent 13 years as a researcher at Stanford’s Center for Ocean Solutions, working on a myriad of science and organizational projects.
